Terms of Policy
1. Scope of ApplicabilityThese General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for lodging purposes, as well as all other goods and services rendered by Hotel BLOOM (hereinafter "Hotel") to the customer.
2. Conclusion of Contract:
The contract comes into effect when the Hotel accepts the customer’s request (booking confirmation). The Hotel is at liberty to confirm the room reservation in text form. If a third party makes the booking on behalf of the customer, the third party and the customer are jointly and severally liable to the Hotel.
3. Check-In and Check-Out:
Standard Check-In: Reserved rooms are available to the customer starting at 2:00 PM on the agreed arrival date.
24/7 Check-In: A 24/7 check-in is generally possible, but only upon prior arrangement and explicit agreement with the Hotel.
Early Check-In: Checking in before 2:00 PM is possible, but incurs additional costs and requires prior agreement with the Hotel.
Standard Check-Out: Rooms must be vacated and made available to the Hotel no later than 11:00 AM on the agreed departure date.
Late Check-Out: Checking out after 11:00 AM is possible, but incurs additional costs and also requires prior agreement with the Hotel.
4. Prices, Payment, and Billing:
The customer is obligated to pay the agreed or applicable Hotel prices for rooms provided and for other services used. The agreed prices include applicable statutory Value Added Tax (VAT). Payment is generally required upon booking or during the digital check-in process. The Hotel is entitled to request a reasonable advance payment or security deposit upon conclusion of the contract.
5. Cancellation by the Customer:
The customer may only cancel the contract concluded with the Hotel if a right of cancellation was explicitly agreed upon in the contract or if a statutory right of cancellation applies. If no specific cancellation policy was agreed upon, standard bookings may typically be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before arrival. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged at 80% to 100% of the total accommodation price.
6. Liability of the Hotel:
The Hotel is liable for harm inflicted on life, limb, and physical health. Furthermore, it is liable for other damages caused with full intent or gross negligence on the part of the Hotel. For property brought into the Hotel by the customer, the Hotel is liable in accordance with the statutory provisions of the German Civil Code (BGB).
7. Final Provisions:
Amendments and supplements to the contract or these General Terms and Conditions should be made in text form. The place of performance and payment is the location of the Leipziger Hotel. German law applies.
